This no cost workshop, focuses on preparing small business owners to ask for a small business loan. It is designed to help our entrepreneurs stand out, and will cover everything from business credit, understanding business financials and pitching to a lender. Breakfast and lunch are included.

Topics include:

• Understanding Your Credit: Understand and establish personal and business credit.
• Preparing Your Financials: Equip yourself with hands-on financial analysis skills to help you discuss financial statements with a lender.
• Putting It All Together: Knowing how to pitch your business to a lender is an essential ingredient when requesting funding. Learn how to inform the lender on why they may want you as a customer.
• Insightful Panel Sessions: Hear directly from lending experts about what makes a strong application and how to stand out as an applicant. Participating lenders include Frandsen Bank, Mid Minnesota Federal Credit Union (MMFCU), Amplio Economic Development Corporation and Entrepreneur Fund. Attend and have your questions answered by industry professionals.
