Calling all Milwaukee area history lovers! Our first Archives Party was a smashing success -- so we've decided to make this an ongoing series.
And YOU are invited to join us!
What's an Archives Party?
We're bringing volunteers together for a hands-on, behind-the-scenes archival processing party. Together, we'll work with our Archives Committee (including Eleanor Clement of the UWM Archives & Special Collections) to process the History Project's most recent donations and acquisitions:
- Scanning and uploading historic photos
- Sorting and cataloging objects and artifacts
- Digitizing paperwork and physical records
- Connect with and learn from experts in the archival field
Interested? Join us -- and help us continue to build and advance the state's largest collection of LGBTQ historical multimedia.
