About this Event
Spanning the Cork Street art quarter to the historic area of St James, we’ll encounter galleries in heritage buildings as well as purpose-built contemporary spaces designed in the last twenty years.
How we interpret art is influenced by the architecture and spaces that surround it. On this tour, join us to consider how structures can help to make today’s art galleries successful, and uncover how architects have responded to that challenge.
This walking tour is for anyone interested in contemporary art, architecture, and learning more about the buildings we pass every day as we move about the city. It forms part of our public programmes, bringing conversations about architecture and the built environment to all.
