Join St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Ridge for the inaugural Archangel Mass for Those Who Serve and Protect on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 11:30 a.m.This special Mass will honor the men and women who serve and protect our community — including law enforcement officers, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, military members and others who answer the call to serve.
Named for St. Michael the Archangel, the patron saint of police officers, firefighters, paramedics and members of the military, this annual Mass will be a time to:
🙏 Give thanks for those who serve
🛡️ Pray for their safety and protection
❤️ Honor the families who support them
🇺🇸 Recognize the service and sacrifice of our local first responders and military community
⛪ Bring our community together in prayer and gratitude
We especially welcome members of the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office, local fire and rescue companies, Maryland State Police, Naval Air Station Patuxent River and the broader first responder and military community, along with their families.
Whether you serve, have a loved one who serves, or simply want to show your gratitude, we invite you to join us.
