IMPORTANT UPDATE
Join us for our next Archaeology on Tap talk at St. Michael's Brewing Company!! Our original talk by Jennifer Melcher is being rescheduled for another date. This will allow her time to recover from the impacts of the hurricane.
However, we will still plan to have an Archaeology on Tap on the same date and time. The new talk will be "Revolutionary Wrecks: British Shipwrecks of West Florida" by FPAN's Mike Thomin.
Though lasting fewer than 20 years, Pensacola’s British Period (1763-1781) left a lasting legacy, including the remains of British Navy ships in the Pensacola Bay system. This presentation describes the history and archaeology of these shipwrecks, and what we still have to learn.
Archaeology on Tap is free and open to the public, and seating is unreserved.
