π© When will I receive my time slot and event directions?
All attendees will receive an email approximately one week before the event confirming:
- Your allocated time slot
- Arrival window

β° Can I choose or change my time slot?
No. Time slots are allocated strictly by age group and gender balance.
Changing one attendee affects the entire rotation, so slot changes cannot be accommodated.
πͺ What happens if I arrive late?
Doors close at the advertised start time of your session.
β Late arrivals will be refused entry and no refunds will be issued.
π°οΈ We strongly recommend arriving 15β30 minutes early.
π¬ How many people will I meet and how long is each conversation?
You can expect to meet approximately 25β35 attendees, depending on final numbers.
β±οΈ Each one-to-one conversation lasts up to 5 minutes, conducted in a supervised, halal environment.
πͺͺ What ID do I need to bring?
You must bring physical photo ID:
- Passport or
- Full UK driving licence
π΅ Digital copies or photos on your phone are not accepted.
π₯ What is a Mehram / chaperone ticket?
A Mehram (chaperone):
- Sits at the back of the room
- Does not take part in rotations
- Is present for observation and support only
ποΈ Every Mehram must hold a valid Mehram ticket to enter.
π€ Does my Mehram have to be Muslim?
A traditional Mehram is a close male relative.
However, for support purposes only, we allow a trusted friend or family member (Muslim or non-Muslim) to attend on a Mehram ticket.
All Mehram rules still apply.
π Are tickets refundable or transferable?
No. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased.
The only exception is if Halal Hearts cancels the event, in which case a refund or rescheduled date will be offered.
π Do you match by ethnicity (e.g. Pakistani-only, Arab-only)?
No.
We match only by being Muslim and by age group.
Attendees come from a wide range of ethnic and cultural backgrounds, and we encourage everyone to attend with an open mind.
π¬π§ What nationality requirements apply?
This event is open to British citizens only.
You must hold:
- A UK passport or
- A full UK driving licence
β Visa holders (work, student, dependent) cannot be accommodated at this time.
ποΈ Is this a full-day event?
The event may run across the day, but you will attend only your allocated session.
Your arrival and finish times will be confirmed by email.
β³ Please keep the day flexible, as sessions may slightly overrun.
π― Can friends or siblings attend the same slot?
Only if they fall within the same age group.
If not, they will be allocated different sessions.
They may, however, attend as each otherβs Mehram if appropriate.
π What if I booked the wrong age group?
Please double-check your date of birth and age category before booking.
If a session is sold out, changes cannot be made.
π Do I submit preferences before the event?
No.
The only pre-sorting is by age group.
All other preferences are explored naturally during your one-to-one conversations.
π What is the dress code?
Smart-casual, modest, and presentable.
β¨ First impressions matter. Dress well while respecting Islamic values.
π« Sportswear, ripped clothing, or overly casual attire is not permitted.
πΆ Can I bring children or a baby?
No.
All attendees and Mehrams must be 18 years or older. Children and babies are not permitted.
β Is food or drink provided?
Light refreshments may be provided (tea, coffee, water).
π« External food or drinks are not permitted inside the venue.
π Is parking available?
We do not provide parking.
Venues are selected for central access. If driving, please research local paid parking in advance.
β οΈ Can men seeking multiple wives attend?
No.
This event is strictly for Muslims seeking one spouse only.

1. Ticketing
1.1 Non-refundable: All ticket sales are final. No refunds, exchanges, or name changes.
1.2 Non-transferable: Tickets must match the attendeeβs ID.
1.3 Event Changes: If the event is cancelled or postponed due to circumstances beyond our control, Halal Hearts will offer a new date or a full refund of the ticket price.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Attendees must:

β’ Be single at the time of the event
β’ Not be married or seeking polygamous marriage
2.2 Halal Hearts reserves the right to refuse entry without refund if eligibility criteria are not met.
3. Identification & Arrival
3.1 Valid photo ID is mandatory.
3.2 Check-in opens 30 minutes before the event. Late arrivals may be refused entry without refund.
4. Event Format
4.1 Seating and rotations are organised by Halal Hearts.
4.2 Format, timings, and seating are non-negotiable.
5. Code of Conduct
5.1 Modest dress and respectful behaviour are required.
5.2 Any inappropriate, disruptive, or disrespectful conduct will result in removal without refund.
5.3 Photography, videography, or recording is strictly prohibited.
6. Matching & Outcomes
6.1 Halal Hearts facilitates introductions only. We do not guarantee matches or outcomes.
6.2 Any connections formed are the responsibility of the attendees.
7. Data Protection
7.1 Personal data is processed in accordance with UK GDPR.
7.2 Information is used solely for event administration and matching purposes.
8. Liability
8.1 Halal Heartsβ liability is limited to the ticket price paid.
8.2 We are not responsible for personal belongings, transport delays, or indirect losses.
