The members of Albion~Rayonne are excited to once again partner with the Junior Girl Scouts for an evening of history, creativity, and hands-on learning as participants work toward earning their Playing in the Past Badge!Throughout the evening, participants will create their own medieval persona while discovering what daily life was like for people living during the Middle Ages. They’ll learn about castles, knights, crafts, food, clothing, games, heraldry, and much more through interactive demonstrations and activities led by members of Albion~Rayonne.

The evening concludes with a medieval marketplace where each Scout introduces herself in character, shares what she learned, and visits with the other “travelers” from the past.
By the end of the evening, Junior Girl Scouts will have completed the requirements for the Playing in the Past Badge while making memories and discovering just how fun history can be.
Please note: In consideration of the summer heat, outdoor combat and archery demonstrations will not be included during this event.
