Aquascaping Workshop: Create an Underwater Garden
Dive into the world of aquascaping at That Fish Place - That Pet Place! This interactive workshop will be led by knowledgeable hobbyists from the Aquarium Club of Lancaster County (ACLC) and the Greater Washington Aquatic Plant Association (GWAPA), who will share tips and techniques for building a stunning underwater garden.
A portion of the workshop proceeds will benefit the ACLC!
Whether you're a beginner or an experienced aquarist, this class offers expert guidance on:
- Selecting and arranging plants, substrate, and hardscape materials
- Understanding tank setup and lighting for optimal plant growth
- Balancing aquatic ecosystems to promote healthy, thriving tanks
- Tips on fish and invertebrate selection to complement your aquascape
Each participant will leave with their own beautifully designed 17-gallon aquascape, plus the knowledge to care for it long-term. All materials, plants, and equipment are provided. Aquatic Livestock not included.
