Formed in Halifax, Nova Scotia, in 1969, April Wine became one of Canada?s most successful rock bands, building a career that has spanned more than five decades and sold more than 10 million recordings worldwide. April Wine?s contributions to Canadian music have earned the band numerous honours, including induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2010 and Canada?s Walk of Fame in 2023. Founding member, songwriter, and longtime frontman Myles Goodwyn retired from touring with the group in 2023 before his passing later that year. Today, April Wine continues with longtime guitarist and vocalist Brian Greenway alongside Richard Lanthier, Roy Nichol, and Marc Parent, carrying the band?s extensive catalogue into its next chapter. https://greatcanadian.com/event/april-wine-2027/
