11AM to 1 PM Steals, Snowballs, & Circles Workshop - $20
This is a Lindy Hop Class focused on community and group exercises for social events. This is a great opportunity to learn about things other than just social dancing that happens at social dancers.
6:30pm - 7:30pm Intro to Lindy Hop *Beginner Friendly, no Partner Needed
New to swing dancing? This is the lesson for you. We will cover simple swing dance moves to get you out on the dance floor! This is included in the cost for the live social dance that starts right after this class.
7:30pm - 10:30pm Live Band Dance with The Indigo Sea Jazz Band -$15
Indigo Sea jazz band is a Wilmington based swing band.
Featuring vocalist Millie Palmer, bassist Dillon Goodson, guitarist Chris Luther and drummer Will Beasley, and often a variety of special guests, Indigo Sea is an energetic, swinging band with styles from the 1930s-50s.
Indigo Sea formed over the love of playing for and with swing dancers and a desire for contributing to and participating in the rich swing dance community in Wilmington and beyond.
Come out to dance, come out to listen to live music, come out to meet new friends, we're looking forward to meeting you!
