Take on one of the Peak District’s most iconic long-distance challenges – the 9 Edges. A spectacular point-to-point route across wild moorland, dramatic gritstone edges, and panoramic views that just keep giving.
Starting at Fairholmes Car Park, we head out into the hills, linking together nine of the Peak District’s famous edges in one unforgettable journey. Expect a real sense of adventure as we traverse rugged landscapes, open moorland and sweeping ridgelines before finishing at the welcoming Robin Hood Inn – the perfect spot to celebrate your achievement.

The Route
We’ll take in a series of iconic edges including Derwent Edge, Stanage Edge and more, linking them together into a continuous and rewarding challenge. This is a true Peak District classic – remote in places, exposed in others, and always breathtaking.
Important Information
This is a point-to-point route (start and finish are different locations)
Transport is your responsibility – YTO does not provide transport between start and finish (we can help organise car share shuttles or taxis)
Full kit list required – including waterproofs, food, water and head torch

We finish at The Robin Hood Inn, where you can grab a well-earned drink, refuel, and celebrate completing one of the Peak District’s most rewarding challenges 🥾
