About this Event
Interested in Registered Apprenticeships but not sure where to start?
Join San Diego Workforce Partnership, FHI 360, San Diego & Imperial Regional Consortium and LAUNCH for the Apprenticeship Accelerator, a hands-on session for employers and training providers. It's designed to help you move from exploring apprenticeship to taking the first steps toward building a program.
This is a working session, not just a presentation. You'll sit alongside workforce, education, apprenticeship and community partners and leave with a plan.
During the session, you'll:
- Identify an employer challenge that apprenticeship could help address
- Explore an occupation or career pathway with employer demand
- Map the key partners needed to develop and support an apprenticeship
- Identify training, funding, recruitment and support resources
- Develop a clear first action and next steps
Who should attend
Employers, HR and talent leaders, and training providers who are curious about apprenticeship. You don't need any prior experience with apprenticeship.
What to bring
An apprenticeship idea, an employer challenge or a question you want to work through.
IWL Apprenticeships are supported by the Employment Training Administration of the U.S. Department of Labor as part of an ABA2 grant award totaling $8 million with 0% financed from non-governmental sources.
