On September 25 and 26, we’ll be celebrating Apples & Ancestry, a FREE event highlighting Japanese American history in the Columbia River Gorge. Kiyokawa Family Orchards will have a pop-up farm stand during museum hours both days, and we’ll be showing an OPB Superabundant video featuring the Kiyokawa family in our theater.Then, at 6 p.m. on September 25, Linda Tamura will be giving a talk with the American Legion about the experiences of Japanese Americans during World War II, as well as more recent efforts toward reconciliation.
