Apple Barn Christmas CarolingFriday, December 18 at 4 PM | Free to Participate
Last year, we tried something a little different for the holidays, and it turned out to be one of the most meaningful things we did all season.
We invited our community to nominate friends, family members, neighbors, or coworkers who could use a little extra Christmas cheer. Then we gathered a wonderful group of volunteers, bundled up, and headed out to surprise those folks with a few Christmas carols and a small box of goodies from The Apple Barn.
And you know what? I think the joy it brought to those of us doing the caroling was every bit as special as the joy we hoped to bring to the people we visited.
So, we're doing it again!
Friday, December 18, we'll meet at The Apple Barn at 4 PM before heading out together to spread a little holiday cheer.
We're looking for volunteers who would love to join us. You don't need to be a great singer, you don't need to bring anything, and there's absolutely no cost to participate. We'll provide a warm drink for the road, some snacks along the way, and plenty of Christmas spirit.
If you'd like to join us, please click the registration link to sign up! It's completely free, but having a head count ahead of time will help us make sure we have enough transportation and goodies for everyone.
We'll also be accepting nominations for people in our community who could use a little extra love this holiday season.
No big production, no strings attached, and no agenda beyond showing up for one another.
Just an evening of connection, kindness, community, and hopefully a few smiles where they're needed most.
I'd love for you to be part of it. Whether you joined us last year or this will be your first time, I think you'll find that giving a little Christmas cheer has a pretty wonderful way of filling your own cup, too.
