APEDS is a weekend designed to equip current and future Christian leaders, to encourage the church, and to connect with other believers in Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia, the Pacific Islands, and beyond. The first APEDS was hosted in Perth, Western Australia, with following events in Singapore, Queensland, and Victoria. This year it will be held in New Zealand for the first time, in the beautiful Bay of Plenty.
This year's theme is Fan the Flame: igniting the passion, skills, and strength of congregational leadership.
Dr Evertt Huffard and Stuart Penhall will be our keynote speakers, and we'll have workshops and panels around leadership models, conflict management, healing from ministry hurt, balancing church responsibilities with family needs, how to end ministry well, and much more.
