About this Event
Join Anton Paar Canada for a three-day Applied Rheology Bootcamp combining rheology fundamentals with extensive hands-on training on MCR rheometers. The program covers rotational and oscillatory rheology, polymer characterization, DMA, rheo-dielectric measurements, extensional rheology, and Rheo-Raman, with a focus on practical test selection, data interpretation, and real-world applications.
Key Learning Outcomes:
•Practical understanding of rheology fundamentals and viscoelastic behavior
•Hands-on experience using Anton Paar MCR rheometers
•Confidence in selecting geometries, temperature-control systems, and test methods
•Practical training in flow curves, amplitude and frequency sweeps, temperature sweeps, creep and recovery
•Deeper insight into polymer structure, morphology, processing behavior, and material performance
•Exposure to advanced techniques, including rheo-dielectric measurements, time-temperature superposition, extensional rheology, and Rheo-Raman
•Expert guidance on data interpretation, troubleshooting, and real-world R&D and industrial applications
•Direct discussions with rheology specialists, Prof. Nicole Demarquette, and fellow participants
