Join us at Art on Target on Friday, 9 October at 6pm for the opening of 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐞: an exhibition reflecting on transitional moments and the feelings of uncertainty, expectation and possibility that come with them. Curated through the invitation of 𝐀𝐛𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐧, Fine Arts Honours graduate of Nelson Mandela University and winner of the 2024 M&M Award, the exhibition brings together:✨ Abigail Brown
✨ Charné Mungur
✨ Jessie Elliott
✨ Sebotse Selamulela
With full creative freedom, the artists explore the theme through a diverse range of practices, including sculpture, printmaking, installation art, participatory art and mixed media. From coming of age and unemployment to spirituality, gender, social realities and environmental concerns, each artist approaches the idea of transition from a distinctly personal perspective.
