Join us for a great community event with our Eighth District Police! ?We're hosting a basketball game on Saturday, October 16, from 12-2 PM in honor of Charlie Kahn.
It will be our NE Philly Community versus the Police District Team.
Interested in watching the game, but not a member? No problem! This event is open to everyone.

Who is Charlie Kahn?
Charlie Kahn was a long-time Executive Board Member of the Greater Philadelphia YMCA where he held numerous positions on the Board of Directors. He and his wife Barbara have donated over $1,000,000 to the YMCA throughout their lifetime and remained active with the YMCA during its many booms and recessions. In 2018, Charlie and Barbara made a transformational gift to the new Willow Grove YMCA and the gymnastic center is now named after both Charlie and Barbara. Charlie had a true passion for equality and providing educational programs to minorities and underprivileged youth throughout the Philadelphia area. Charlie was a mentor to many real estate professionals and a leader in the real estate community throughout the region. His son, Jim Kahn continues the Kahn Real Estate Legacy. Charlie passed away in August 2021.
