An Accountability Round Table (ART), Centre for Public Integrity (CPI) & Deakin University conference.
About this Event

The conference explores the political and policy challenges limiting the effectiveness of Australia's anti-corruption commissions (ACCs) and identifies strategies for enhancing their impact. In doing so, the conference seeks to strengthen the fight against corruption; with the expert insights raised throughout the conference forming a framework for strongly encouraging legislators to improve the laws and budgets currently restraining ACCs from achieving optimal effectiveness.

The conference brings together key anti-corruption stakeholders, including current and former Anti-corruption Commissioners, Parliamentary Inspectors, Members of Parliament, Integrity Officers, Academics, Public Policy and Integrity Analysts, and Journalists.

This conference is hosted by Accountability Round Table (ART), Centre for Public Integrity (CPI) & Deakin University.
