Join Culinary Anthropologist Steph Jamieson for an understanding of what anthelmintic foods are and how they can affect you. Stephanie discuses anti-parasitic foods as you sample your way through dishes, drinks, and desserts from different cultures. Through tastings and cultural stories, this class will examine how different communities have used food as part of their approach to digestive and overall wellness—and what current research can and cannot tell us about these traditional practices. Come taste, learn, and explore the cultural history behind some of nature’s most intriguing foods. Please note: This class is for culinary and educational purposes and is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment of a parasitic infection. Come hungry!
