🎉 Stars and Stripes Ball 2026@ The Knife River Center!
An evening of honor, celebration, and community, benefiting LINK UP VETS
Every November, our community comes together for one of the most meaningful nights of the year, and 2026 will be the best one yet. The Stars and Stripes Ball is LINK UP VETS' signature celebration, where veterans, families, neighbors, and local businesses gather to honor those who served and to fuel the programs that keep them connected, supported, and thriving.
Year after year, this ball has filled the room with stories, laughter, and a sense of belonging you won't find anywhere else. It's a night to dress up, raise a glass, and stand shoulder to shoulder with people who believe that service shouldn't end when the uniform comes off.
What to expect:
A formal evening of dinner, music, and dancing
A ceremony honoring local veterans and their families
Live and silent auctions, with every dollar going straight to work for veterans in our community
Great company: veterans of every era, community leaders, and friends old and new
Why it matters:
Every dollar raised at the Stars and Stripes Ball goes toward sending veterans on LINK UP VETS' Alaskan fishing trip, an experience that's about far more than the fish. Out on the water, veterans reconnect with the outdoors, with each other, and with the sense of purpose and brotherhood that comes from shared adventure. For many, it's a chance to slow down, decompress, and build friendships that last long after the trip ends. This year, our goal is to send up to 16 veterans to Alaska. It costs $2,500 to send one veteran, and $40,000 fills the whole boat. When you buy a ticket, sponsor a table, or bid on an auction item, you're helping put a veteran on that trip.
