Many have already begun to ask me about our annual event and the answer is "YES! We will do it again this year....But we really need your help!
1. We need at least 20 turkeys cooked and brought the day of the event
2. We need to restock some paper supplies. I will be taking inventory soon
3. We need volunteers to cook traditional sides. Corn, mashed potatoes, green beans (just these three) and cans of cranberry sauce.
4. Im considering bringing back the ability to wash clothes on the street again.
5. Any gently used clothing items. So clean out your closet and bring the items you dont wear, but others less fortunate could really use. (No undergarments unless they are new in factory packaging)
As usual I will scout the area the week prior to know where the homeless are and post an exact meeting place then.
Yes you can bring your children! Lets teach them to give back too!
We've been doing this over a decade now! And we average feeding 400 people in a 2 hour span...It goes fast! Please plan ahead to be on time or better yet before time!
Please begin to list your food commitments below so I can keep a tracking and know what holes need filled.
And as usual, I look forward to seeing all your servant hearts again this year!
