Ask anyone who's been and they will tell you, “There’s nothing like New Years Day at Sedgley.”Come out for the annual New Years Day celebration at Sedgley Woods. Bring a group of your friends for one round of disc golf from the Blue Tees.
This event is Pot luck so please bring some food to share!
The round will start at 12:00P!!!! Don't miss this fun filled day with your friends and family! Feel free to share the event!

The cost for every division is $10, with everyone being automatically entered into an Ace Pot! Pro divisions will be playing for cash, AM's divisions will be playing for Prize packs. Food supplied by FSW is also part of the entry fee.
Schedule (very tentative)
9am – set up
10am – Registration Opens, Meet -n- Greet, Raffle Tickets
11am – Lifetime recipient Award, 2025 Tag Champion Awards,
Champagne toast with Sedgley Woods Founder, Jim Powers
12pm – Group Photo & Off to your holes!
4pm – Scores counted
5pm – Awards & Raffle
Cash Payout Divisions:
Pro Open / Pro Masters / Pro Women / O.G. (Must have played Sedgley Woods before 1990)
Disc Prize Divisions:
Male AM / Female AM – All others than those described above.

Making your Card / Group: Group Captain MUST TURN IN ALL CARDS AND MONEY FOR EVERYONE at once. Try to keep groups below 20. Groups must play quickly (Its a long round). DO NOT GO INTO TD AREA AND GRAB CARDS OR ASSIGN YOURSELF TO A GROUP!!!!!!
Keeping score: Everyone has their own scorecard. Consider switching cards with another player in your group so that everyone is responsible for taking down 1 score after every hole. This is much easier than 1 person writing down 20 scores after each hole.
New Years Day Raffle: We will be raffling off some great prizes after the round on New Year's Day. Tickets are $5 each, 5 for $20, 17 for $50 or 40 for $100!! Raffle donations are greatly appreciated!
New Years Day Potluck Feast: The Sedgley New Years Day party/tournament is a pot luck meal. Please bring a dish to share. We rely on the generosity of others to help feed the crowd. FSW does provide food however, we appreciate anything you can bring to share. We have heat/electric for crockpots or bring in half foil pans already heated, and paper plates/bowls for your food contribution. Bring your own libations for your group during the round.
2026 Sedgley Tags will be available for purchase and is good for about 150 recorded league rounds every year. This is a highly competitive and fun league great for all skill levels. Proceeds go to the course maintenance and upkeep.
