Shake off the winter blues and kickstart your year with a ceilidh. The perfect blend of live music, dancing, laughter and lots of fun.
About this Event

The Brim Ceilidh Band's iconic 'Hangover Ceilidh' returns to The Falmouth Hotel again on Saturday, 30th January 2027.

The Falmouth Hotel will once again be host to this year's event in its main Castle View function room at the front of the hotel, overlooking Falmouth Bay. No ceilidh dancing experience is necessary as all the dances will be led by our expert caller Kate Smith and will include a mix of traditional and contemporary ceilidh dances from Scotland, Ireland, Cornwall and beyond.

Whether it’s your first ceilidh or your fiftieth, everyone’s welcome. No experience needed as all dances are taught as we go.

Get tickets early to benefit from 'Early Bird' prices but also to avoid disappointment as previous years have always sold out.

WHAT TO EXPECT

WHAT IS A CEILIDH ('kay-lee')?

Originating from Scotland, Ceilidhs are widely becoming very popular for wedding receptions, birthday parties and other celebrations and events, particularly here in Cornwall where we are regularly in high demand. For those that have not been to one or even heard of the them they are immensely fun, sociable and energetic and great for all that are willing to try something new!

Feel free to come alone too as it is likely there are many others that have come solo and looking for a dance partner.

Please go to www.brimceilidh.co.uk where you can learn more about who we are and what you can expect at one of our ceilidhs by checking out the media page.
