Annual General Meeting of Burnley & District Writers' Circle.Members have the privilege / responsibility of being able to vote, stand for election to committee, in addition to proposing/seconding motions.
The main function of the AGM is to review the previous year and to elect a committee for the coming year. The committee positions are as follows:
• Chair
• Vice-chair
• Treasurer
• Secretary (position includes website & social media)
• Website & Social Media Officer (currently incorporated with Secretary role)
• In the event of an even number of members, we may also choose to elect an Ordinary Committee Member to ensure an odd number.
All positions will be available for re-election.
