Anne Bogart and Tina Landau’s The Viewpoints: A Toolkit for New Syllabus Readiness
Build a toolkit to navigate the new syllabus so you can lead your students on an enriching creative journey with confidence. Explore Anne Bogart and Tina Landau’s Viewpoints & Ensemble Practices to create compelling physical and visual performance. Explore physical skills, composition, dramaturgical and choreographic techniques. We will also touch on how to apply these techniques to an Individual Project with pre existing text and how to generate and integrate text into an ensemble setting. The workshop will culminate in a small devised performance in a collaborative setting to put the tools into practice. This workshop is for all teaching artists and aims to inspire, deepen and expand your practice wherever you are at. Whether you are very experienced and want a refresher or you are new to these practices, everyone is welcome. Come and be in community with like minded educators, activate your artistry and gain the skills to lead the path forward with confidence.
