Beneath the manicured lawns of Annapolis lie secrets forged in iron and salt. This is no colonial relic but a crucible of naval power and hidden dissent. This self-guided audio tour takes in the Maryland State House, St Anne Church, Government House, the Banneker-Douglass-Tubman Museum, the Paca and Brice houses and Fort Severn, uncovering what most visitors walk right past. Seventeen stops across the historic district, roughly two hours at your own pace, with narration playing as you walk. Your phone is the guide, so start whenever you like and pause for a coffee whenever you want.
