WHY IS THE AMAZING ART EXPO GIVING AWAY VIP TICKETS WORTH UP TO $120? Yes, it seems too good to be true right? Well for one, it's the start of the holiday season and the best time to start giving to one another. Now from a business perspective, we are so convinced you will love the art we sell so much that you'll likely walk out with some early Christmas gifts for loved ones and for yourself.
HOW DO I GET MY FREE 9"x12" PRINT? this event on any of your social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, X etc.) by November 7th. Get another free print by liking and following our Instagram or Facebook page at amazingartexpo. Limit one free print per individual who shared on their own/separate social media & per individual who follows Amazing Art Expo's Facebook or Instagram page. When you check in at the event, use your phone to show proof you shared the event in order to get your free print. to share the event on Facebook.
WHERE DO I PARK: Parking is FREE at the conference center!
WHY ARE THERE MULTIPLE EVENTS DISPLAYING A SIMILAR EVENT WITH THE SAME DATES AND LOCATION? These are all the same event! We are limited in the amount of characters we can type in an event title. Since our event encompasses: Anime, Game, Horror, Marvel, Disney, Star Wars, Alice in Wonderland, this is simply too long to put into an event title. To make it easier and in order to reach fans of each theme, we have created separate events for these themes but keep in mind, it is all the same event.
THIS EVENT SEEMS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. HOW DO I KNOW THIS IS A LEGITIMATE EVENT? We encourage you to Google us at "amazing art expo" where you will see many updates, reviews, etc. We have over 66,000 followers on Facebook, 44,000 on Instagram and have been in business since 2016. We have hosted over 100 events during that time.
ARE KIDS ALLOWED? This event is 100% Kid & Stroller Friendly!
ARE YOU ACCEPTING VENDORS OR ARTISTS FOR THIS EVENT? We are no longer accepting any vendors for this event.
IS THERE ANY ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (A.I.) ART AT THIS EVENT? Absolutely NOT! All our art sold on our website and featured at our show was created by human hands, all made in the USA and all artists are paid and under contract with us. We do not believe A.I. art is actually art and we stay firm with that decision.
IS PHOTOGRAPHY ALLOWED? You are welcome to photograph cosplayers and the overall event— both are encouraged to share with friends. However, due to encounters of theft, attempts in converting the art via A.I. and/or unauthorized reproduction (bootlegging) of the artwork, our artists request no photography of the art itself please. Out of respect for the artists, this rule is strictly enforced.
DO I HAVE TO COSPLAY TO ATTEND THE EVENT? No. Cosplaying is completely voluntary.
WHEN IS THE UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATER CONTEST?
Bring your favorite Christmas sweater, friends, and family to the Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest! It will take place at approximately 3-4 pm on Saturday!
1st PLACE PRIZE: Receives a $100 Gift Certificate for the Amazing Art Expo.
2nd PLACE PRIZE: Receives a $75 Gift Certificate for the Amazing Art Expo.
3rd PLACE PRIZE: Receives a $50 Gift Certificate.
WHAT ARE THE GUIDELINES FOR THE COSPLAY CONTEST?
Cosplay Contests will take place approximately 3-4 pm on Sunday. All Monsters, princesses, princes, superheroes, Jedi, wizards, witches and even muggles of all ages are encouraged to attend and will be introduced to the audience as their character name. Cosplayers who meet the following criteria listed below will qualify for the Cosplay Contest.
1st PLACE PRIZE: Receives a $100 Gift Certificate for the Amazing Art Expo.
2nd PLACE PRIZE: Receives a $75 Gift Certificate for the Amazing Art Expo.
3rd PLACE PRIZE: Receives a $50 Gift Certificate.
PROFESSIONAL COSPLAYERS (INFLUENCERS) who have 50,000+ social media followers may qualify to receive a free display table to promote their brand(s) in exchange for coming to and promoting the event. Please email [email protected] for details.
1.) JUST SHOW UP: no later than 2 pm on the day of the cosplay contest. You should check in with our front desk. We will make several announcements before the contest to assemble all cosplayers and give instructions as to how it will be run. Typically, the cosplay contest is held inside the art expo auditorium with the M/C introducing each character to the crowd.
2.) LIMITATIONS: All ages are applicable to win. Costumes should portray pop culture characters: Anime, Disney, Star Wars, Horror, Super Heroes, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Ninja Turtles, etc. Members of the 501st.com and Furries are not eligible.
3.) COSTUMES must be creative. Out of respect for the cosplayers who put hours into their costumes, simply wearing a hat, shirt, sweatshirt, one piece outfit, etc. does not qualify for the competition and this rule applies to children too. Simply wearing a character's Pajamas, T-shirt, wig, rabbit ears, a one piece store bought outfit, etc. will not qualify to enter the contest. Amazing Art staff have every right to determine which costumes apply and which do not. 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners must include costumes which are at least 25% hand made. Makeup is included as "hand made." Winners will be judged on their interaction with attendees and the creativity of their costumes including makeup and handmade materials, personality - especially pertaining to depicting your cosplay character, etc. Costumes should be tasteful and not be deemed offensive. The barest minimum of body coverage would be that of a bikini.
4.) WEAPONS: All operational shooting weapons and/or sharp objects are absolutely forbidden. Non-firing toy weapons are allowed. Act responsibly and use caution when carrying, yielding, displaying large props. Any simulation of props, such as light saber battles, may be allowed if granted permission beforehand by an Amazing Art Expo crew member and if conducted in an open area free of bystanders.
5.) PHOTOS: Although taking photos with guests is voluntary, cosplayers are not to charge guests for any photos. Photos should be taken in an open area so you are not blocking aisles or product displays. You are welcome to ask any Amazing Art Expo employee suggestions for such areas. In an effort to protect artist's works at the event, no photography of the artwork is allowed.
6.) If the event includes a contest on Saturday and Sunday, contestants may participate both days but are not eligible to win more than once with the same costume.
7.) There must be at least 12 qualified participants in order for the contest to take place.
