About this Event
A free, family-friendly creative activity.
Join us for a stop-motion animation workshop and create your own hand-made scene.
We have sessions available throughout the day and recommend a group size of between 2 - 5 people, best enjoyed by ages 8 and above. Each session runs for one hour, poviding time to think-up your scene, make your puppets and props, and record the animation.
Animation expert Finn Varney will help shape your ideas, craft models, and bring your animation to life - frame by frame. Together we will make a film about music and the Four Elements - Earth, Air, Fire and Water.
Your work will be seen by thousands of visitors at Musicport Festival in Whitby during 23 - 25 October.
We can only offer limited spaces for this activity, therefore booking is essential - and free!
We’ll be taking photographs and video during the workshop to capture the creative process and share the project. If you’d prefer not to be photographed or filmed, just let us know at the beginning of your session.
