Please join us for a ‘double shihan’ weekend of training and friendship with Andrew and Irene Williamson of Aikido Seiryukan, Canterbury (ASC), New Zealand, two of New Zealand's most senior and highly respected instructors. Andrew Sensei is the Director of ASC He commenced training in 1979 under Takase Shihan (7th Dan) in Auckland, New Zealand, and moved to Christchurch in 1989, establishing Aikido Shinryukan Canterbury the following year, in 1990. He was awarded the title of Shihan in 2017. Irene Williamson is chief instructor of ASC and is the first woman in New Zealand to be awarded the title of Shihan. This is an open seminar. All are welcome.
