The Beat Starts Within. Join us for a 4 class beginner DJ workshop at Twelves Wax in Sacramento! Please note: Your single ticket covers entry to all 4 classes in the workshop. (Oct 8, 15, 22, & 29)
Whether you want to learn a new hobby or start a music journey, this workshop covers all the essential basics in an encouraging, low pressure environment.
Interactive & 100% Hands-On Experience
You'll be behind the decks from day one! Every student gets their own dedicated setup to practice on during every single class. (DJ controller, iPad, and headphones. Feel free to bring your own wired headphones if you prefer. Must have 1/8 inch/3.5mm headphone jack.)
What You’ll Learn:
- Gear & Software Basics: Learn controller & software functions.
- The Core Fundamentals: Practice beatmatching, mixing, EQ, and FX.
- Curate Your Sound: Build transitions using a diverse, multi-genre music library.
- Build Your Set: Walk away with the skills to construct and perform your first mini set.

- When: Thursdays (6:00 PM – 7:15 PM) | Oct 8th – Oct 29th (Classes 10/8, 10/15, 10/22, 10/29)

- Requirements: Ages 18 & Up | No experience necessary
