Do you dream of living in community? Building a home, building family, and aging with neighbors and friends committed to supporting one another? So do we. We're building a neighborhood in Marshall on 28 acres of beautiful, lush land. We call it "Sonder Hollow"*. It is planned as a resident-led community with 10-12 households, a common house, orchard, and gardens. Initial funds are secured, and construction will begin in early 2027.
You can learn more about the project here: www.sonderhollow.org
On October 10th, we're holding an interest event. Come join us if you're interested in the project, know those who might be, or are a land-based community builder yourself who wants to meet others doing the same. We'll have a presentation about our project, and we'll also feature talks and a Q&A by several experts on different aspects of community-building and community life.

CJ O'Reilly - Weave the People
Steve Torma - The REAL Center, Earthaven Ecovillage

Living together is not an easy thing. It involves conflict, time, money, learning, and compromise, and - as community chronologist Kathleen Kinkade says - "adjusting your dreams to realign without ever quite giving them up".
It is also an avenue towards some of the greatest fulfillment, safety, and learning we can experience as human beings.
Come join us for the experiment.
* Sonder (n): The profound realization that every random passerby is living a life as vivid, complex, and central to them as your own is to you.
Hollow (n): The state of being empty; a depression in the land; the valley between two hills.
