About this Event
Join us on Monday, November 2, at 6 p.m. for a conversation with award-winning author Anthony Knopps to learn the true meaning of The No-Fail Mission. Discover what it was like to be a service member supporting the Office of the President. Hear stories of being in the front row of history when decisions were made that shaped the course of a nation.
Knopps’s new book, “The No-Fail Mission: The Men and Women Behind the Presidential Service Badge, Volume II,” profiles thirteen American service members who earned the Presidential Service Badge. Since the badge was established in 1964, only a small fraction of those who have served at the White House have received this distinction. Honorees represent the top 1% of the top 1% within their respective branches of service.
Knopps will discuss the challenges, both large and small, of supporting the Office of the President. He will also reflect on the humility of the men and women who chose, without hesitation, to serve a cause greater than themselves. Six of the ten individuals profiled served during the Clinton administration. The book also includes a foreword by President Bill Clinton.
BOOK: Knopps will sign copies of his book following the program. This book will be available for purchase from the Clinton Museum Store soon.
The program will be available on our YouTube channel the following day.
ASL interpretation is available during our events.
This program is presented by the Clinton Foundation and the Clinton Presidential Library.
