Join PCLA at the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble on Sunday, November 1, for the 2:00 PM performance of The Best Medicine, followed by a special talkback.
Caroline Aaron of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel stars in this open-hearted solo show by Robin Gerber about love, commitment, purpose, and life's unexpected turns.
Right after the show, stay for a conversation with Dr. Adrienne Keener, a board-certified neurologist and Movement Disorders specialist at UCLA and the West Los Angeles VA PADRECC, and PCLA Vice President Judy Yaras.
Drawing on moments from the play, they will talk about care partners: their role in the Parkinson's journey, how challenging it can be for both the person with Parkinson's and the person beside them, and why the medical team matters.
A ticket to the 2:00 PM performance is required to attend the talkback. Use code NEUROLOGY20 for a $20 ticket price.
