Learn how to transform a personal story into a powerful monologue AND perform it in this FREE 3-week workshop at the Pineville Library.About this Event
Everyone has a story to tell and theatrical monologues are a fun and powerful way to share a personal experience with others. In Tell Your Story, participants will attend a workshop for the first two sessions (Nov. 2 and Nov. 9) and then perform their newly crafted monologues at the last session on November 16. In this introspective, creativity-fueled workshop, participants will use narrative and dramatic acting techniques to create a personal theatrical monologue inspired by a real moment from their lives-whether funny or poignant or absolutely absurd. Tell Your Story is an opportunity to write, reflect and share in a supportive environment during workshop culminating with a performance on Nov. 16th.
