No tricks here this Halloween, just scales, science, and a surprisingly good neighbor!Join Education Director Lauren Eno on Halloween for a meet+greet with her Corn Snake, Phoenix! Corn Snakes are beneficial, nonvenomous snakes native to the United States that are known for their calm disposition and popularity as pets.
This is a family-friendly, free event that is open to the public! And while you're in the shop, don't forget to do some trick-or-treating!
(Before her career with Wild Birds Unlimited, Lauren worked for several years with ambassador Corn Snakes in several states, and will guide the event in a way that is fun and safe for everyone involved!)
