Some conversations are hard to have. That’s exactly why they matter. On Sunday 1 November, the CorriLee Foundation is holding an afternoon for the No Laughing Matter podcast series. The series shares real stories of incest, told by survivors and voiced by well-known Australians.
Rafiki Mwema is honoured to be part of it. Our Founder, Sarah Rosborg, will join the panel with Chanel Contos, Jaz Stephens OAM, Sophie Malone and Anne Lambert, led by Jean Kittson AM. Together they’ll talk about how we break the silence around child sexual abuse in families, here in Australia and in Kenya.
The afternoon also includes:
MC Tanya Lee, creator of No Laughing Matter
Guest speaker John Bell AO OBE
A screening of Zoe Carides’ short film “Not Even a Mouse”
An art auction with works by Wendy Sharpe, Reg Mombassa and Michael Bell, led by Grace Tame and Mikey Robins
