We seem to be living in a divided “binary” world: red-blue, us-them, winners-losers … and the list goes on. (Should we add Packers-Bears?). The Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (PoP) Adult Education Ministry struggled with this issue over the summer and has decided to partner with Common Ground Fox Cities in an effort to find a “Better Way” for all of us to live and find JOY in our lives. In the midst of the upcoming election season, Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and Common Ground Fox Cities are collectively hosting three (3) community events open to the public which promote active listening and inclusive dialogue, especially across divides.
"Listen Like You Might Be Wrong" is the third and final event, a forum with a short video viewing, dialogue and discussion. Attendees will view a clip of the May 2026 Harvard University Commencement Ceremony. In the clip, graduating senior, Noah Eckstein, shares how his family of Muslim, Jewish and Christian faiths not only get along, but LOVE each other! Come & discover the keys to their success!
Date: Sunday, Oct. 4
Time: 11 am - 12 pm
Location: Prince of Peace’s Fellowship Hall.
Open to the Public | No RSVP Necessary!
If you have any questions, please reach out to Dean Gruner at [email protected].
We hope you can make it to this final event in the series!
