"Lichens as Muse" New Gloria Betlem Solo Show Opening...They grow on trees, rocks, and soil across the globe—resilient, ancient, and quietly vital to our ecosystem. But through the eyes of artist Gloria Betlem, lichens are a canvas of endless abstraction and vibrant form.
Since 2018, Gloria has been transforming her close-up photos of lichens gathered during hikes into breathtaking pastel and watercolor works. Lichens as Muse invites you to slow down and discover the extraordinary beauty hiding in plain sight.
