You are invited to take part in this year’s Elkton UMC Women’sRetreat 2027, which will take place at the fabulous Hilton Garden Inn in Ocean City MD – where every retreat participant will have an oceanfront room!
The theme of the retreat is “In Many and Various Ways” (a reference to a passage in Hebrews which speaks of
how God spoke to the people and still does – in many and various
ways!) We will celebrate God speaking to us in many and various
ways during the retreat by looking at four things very familiar to all of us – music, art, books and movies. We’ll see how even in the
“ordinary” things of life, God speaks to us. The weekend will
feature wonderful speakers, conversations around the tables,
and creative activities which reflect on each subject.
The retreat will begin at 7 pm on Friday, January 15th, and end
before noon on Sunday, January 17th. You will be able to check into your hotel room any time after 3 pm on the 15th. Be sure to take a look at the hotel website to see all that they offer (pool, workout room, restaurant, etc.)!
