In this three-week class, Paul Stein shares tips and tools on what works, what doesn’t and the three things that you should always consider when producing a show. Helpful to all creative performers – Improv Teams, Sketch Groups, Storytellers, and Solo Performers. Learn techniques on overall production needs, how to pitch, apply for festivals, technical requirements and marketing. This class is beneficial for all experience levels.INSTRUCTOR(S): Paul Stein

Formerly an Executive Producer for Comedy Central and a Venue Producer with HBO Comedy, Paul Stein has produced and supervised over 2,500 live comedy presentations at theaters, venues, and festivals in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, San Diego, Toronto, Las Vegas, Aspen, Edinburgh, Scotland and Paris, France. Paul is the Creator and Artistic Producer of The Car Plays, a site-specific show which has played to sold-out runs, garnered awards and received critical praise from the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Orange County Register, San Diego Tribune, American Theatre Magazine and Time Magazine.
