"Global Figures" Upcycled Character Sculptures
In this cultural exploration workshop, participants will bend and shape wire coat hangers into human forms. Giving new life to everyday household items, they will sculpt and dress these figures using various materials to represent traditional attire and distinct cultural characteristics from around the world, such as traditional Japanese or African garments.
Key Materials: Repurposed wire coat hangers, multi-textured fabrics, yarn scraps, decorative papers, sculpting tools.
Date: Saturday, November 7, 1-3 PM
Facilitator: Vickie Frémont
For: Families with Children. Adults are also welcome.
Children must be accompanied by an adult. No drop-off allowed.
Fee: $5 Per Child (Under 18) / $10 Per Adult
Registration is required to participate.
