"Get On the Good Foot" The Howland Dance Jam at The Howland Cultural Center, will; be on Saturday, November 28th at 7:00-10:00 P.M. (doors open at 6:30 P.M.) The Howland is located at 477 Main Street in Beacon.Lose yourself to a exuberant and soulful mix of R&B, Latin, Soul, Funk, Reggae, Rock, Disco, Hip-Hop & more, played by DJs Rhoda and Al. All are welcome: couples, singles, friends, newcomers.
The Howland also provides a Hospitality Table serving drinks and light snacks at no charge, though gratuities are appreciated.
The lights are low, the sound is full and the ambiance is warm and intimate. These dances are informal and even if you come alone, you can always find a friendly partner on the dance floor. Attire is whatever suits your mood - from blue jeans to glimmering sparkles.
Admission is $15.00, paid at the door.
