Join Dip Into Art, LLC at Clermont Farm for a special afternoon of painting using acrylic modeling paste along with acrylic paints - inspired by the sheep of Clermont and the agricultural story they represent.Using acrylic paint and acrylic modeling paste, on an 11 × 14 stretched canvas, participants will create a charming mother-and-lamb painting inspired by an original photograph taken at Clermont Farm. The design celebrates the beauty of the farm’s livestock while connecting creativity with Clermont’s ongoing work of preserving the past and cultivating the future.
During this guided painting experience, we’ll explore traditional acrylic painting techniques along with a palette knife and acrylic modeling paste to create texture and dimension. Participants will learn how to apply the modeling paste to build the soft, woolly texture of the sheep before adding layers of acrylic color, highlights, and shadows.
The class is designed to be approachable and enjoyable, with step-by-step instruction, simple color mixing, and plenty of room to make your painting uniquely your own. No previous painting experience is necessary.
Your 11 × 14 canvas will be pre-outlined with our sheep composition, so you can jump right into the painting process without worrying about drawing the design from scratch.
