Join the Northern Dutchess Symphony Orchestra and guest artists from the Hudson Valley Saxophone Orchestra for a program filled with the sounds of jazz and the great American big band tradition.Enjoy big band standards by Duke Ellington, Cole Porter, Glenn Miller, and Benny Goodman, along with familiar songs by George Gershwin and his orchestral masterpiece "An American in Paris." The program also features a performance of the Artie Shaw "Clarinet Concerto" with Dr. Diego Vásquez, professor of clarinet at Ithaca College.
