Honor our nation’s legacy and be a part of the “All American” celebration on May 23 at the America 250: Red, White and Remember Parade and Family Picnic! The parade, formerly known as the Military Appreciation Days parade, celebrates patriotism, service and sacrifice. The parade steps off at 10 a.m. Stay tuned for more information.Looking to be a part of the parade? Applications are open to register for this year’s “America 250: Red, White and Remember” parade. Participants may opt to purchase a commercial float for $850. The fee includes all decorations, a driver, insurance coverage and the applicant’s name on both sides of the float.
High school marching bands are encouraged to participate. Any high school band marching in the parade will receive a $500 performance fee, mileage reimbursement up to 400 miles, potential competition winnings and lunch.
