The parade, formerly known as the Military Appreciation Days parade, celebrates patriotism, service and sacrifice. The parade steps off at 10 a.m. Stay tuned for more information.
Looking to be a part of the parade? Applications are open to register for this year’s “America 250: Red, White and Remember” parade. Participants may opt to purchase a commercial float for $850. The fee includes all decorations, a driver, insurance coverage and the applicant’s name on both sides of the float.
High school marching bands are encouraged to participate. Any high school band marching in the parade will receive a $500 performance fee, mileage reimbursement up to 400 miles, potential competition winnings and lunch.
