Time: The ceremony will run from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Location: King’s Grant Clubhouse, 222 Fairington Drive, Summerville, SC 29485.
About the Event: Hosted by the Dorchester County Veterans Affairs, the ceremony will honor Dorchester County’s veterans and recognize their service and sacrifice with remarks from the Dorchester County Veterans Affairs Office, a keynote address from Dorchester County Veterans Affairs’ Deputy Director Joan Sallee, and a special presentation to Korean War and World War 2 veterans. Included in the ceremony, there will be a veteran poetry reading from local poet Jack Smith and posting of colors.
Meals: Meals from Swig & Swine will be provided for registered attendees.
