Food, drinks, business portraits and you get $50 card for completing a confidential survey about running a business in Queens.
About this Event

I need your help. We have some ideas about what Black business owners in Queens are building well and what support could make a difference, but we need to hear the truth from you.

Do you want to come have some light breakfast, fill out a confidential 20 minute survey about your business and tell the story about how you started IF you want to? I’ll even give you a $50 Visa Gift Card when you finish the survey.

This is for Black business owners whose businesses are currently or were previously located in Queens.

The survey is part of the Queens Black Business Sustainability Study from BlaQue Community Cares, with research led by Dr. Shamika N. Williams of SUNY Old Westbury. Participation is voluntary, and survey responses are confidential.

We are studying customer demand, operating costs, marketing, staffing, location, long-term sustainability and other related topics.

We will produce a findings report, a community brief, and selected case studies that connect the data to actual business experiences

Please attend and choose your arrival time when you register. Plan to be there for up to 1.5 hours.
