Transforming Touch® is a Regulation-Focused approach designed to support nervous system regulation following early stress, developmental adversity, and traumatic experiences. Rather than focusing primarily on symptoms, practitioners learn to recognize patterns of dysregulation and use intentional touch to promote safety, improve regulation, and support integration.
Transforming Touch® can be practiced as a stand-alone approach or integrated into an existing professional practice. Many practitioners find that improving nervous system regulation enhances the effectiveness of the therapeutic work they are already providing.
While many individuals seek care following a single traumatic event, we frequently discover that earlier developmental experiences have influenced how the nervous system responds to stress. Learning to recognize these patterns allows practitioners to support regulation with greater precision and confidence.
