An Uncommon Alchemy | The Creative Arts Guild | Second Member Exhibition In Partnership with The Friends of the Take OverHistoric Towngate Theatre & Cinema | November 7–28, 2026
Every artist has their own recipe for creation—a curious combination of materials, ideas, experiences, and imagination. An Uncommon Alchemy celebrates the unexpected magic that happens when individual creative practices come together.
Bringing together an eclectic collection of work from Creative Arts Guild members across the Ohio Valley, this exhibition honors the beautiful unpredictability of making. No formulas. No single path. Just a gathering of creative minds transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary.
Opening alongside Chroma Sonic: Rites of Improvisation, An Uncommon Alchemy celebrates the experimentation, connection, and creative energy that emerge when different voices share a space.
---
Creative Arts Guild members are invited to submit 1–2 original works for our second member exhibition at the historic Towngate Theatre & Cinema in Wheeling. This show celebrates the diverse creative voices that make up our growing Guild, bringing together artists and makers from across the Ohio Valley.
From painting and illustration to photography, sculpture, fiber, mixed media, design, and beyond, we're celebrating the many hands, ideas, and imaginations that make our creative community unique. There’s no single theme or style—just an opportunity to share your work, connect with new audiences, and be part of something we're building together.
